Ingredients

Rice : 1 cup
Urad daal (black gram dal) : ½ cup
Salt : to taste
Water : sufficient to make a smooth batter
Ghee or oil : as needed
Instructions
Soak rice for about 5 hours.
Soak urad dal for 3 hours.
Grind dal and rice using water in a mixer or grinder.
Make it a smooth batter and add sufficient salt to it mix it well.
Then heat a pan add little oil or ghee to it and when it gets hot pour the smooth matter in to it and spread using a spoon.
Make the both sides cooked.
Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
