Heat oil in a pan for frying.
Sprinkle salt on the kathal cubes and fry them till brown.
Take little amount of oil in a non-stick pan and add green chilies.
Cook for about a minute and add the fried kathal.
Add salt, turmeric powder and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, jeera powder, garam masala and mix well.
Let it cook by covering the pan with a lid.
When all the masalas get blended neatly in the kathal, remove the lid and add dry mango powder.
Mix well and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
