- 1/4 Cup Sugar For preparing caramel
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Condensed milk
- 2½ Cup Milk
- ½ Cup Sago Soak for 2 hours
- Roasted nuts and raisins for garnishing
- 1 Pinch salt
In a pan melt ¼ cup sugar on low heat until it caramelizes.
Add 1 tbsp butter and mix well.
Pour milk and bring it to boil.
Add condensed milk and a pinch of salt.
Add soaked and drained sago.
Cook until the sago turns translucent and fully cooked.
Fry cashew nuts and raisins in ghee and add into the payasam.
Tasty and creamy caramel sabudana payasam is ready now.
