Creamed Corn | Homemade Creamed Corn

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Corn Boiled
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Chopped
  • 1 Tsp All purpose flour/maida
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • ½ Tsp Chilli flakes
  • ¼ Tsp Pepper powder
  • Few Coriander leaves Chopped
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter in a pan and add chopped garlic.
  • Add maida and whisk continuously on a medium-low flame. Flour is used as a thickening agent for the sauce.
  • When the flour colour changes into light brown in color pour milk. Continue to stir and cook.
  • When sauce begins to thicken reduce heat to low and add chilli flakes, required salt and pepper powder. Combine well.
  • Now add boiled corn.
  • Add little chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Remove pan from heat and serve immediately.
