Cut all the fruits into small pieces. Heat a pan and saute the chopped fruits by adding a tbsp of ghee. Saute for 10 minutes over low to medium flame.
Next, boil milk in a saucepan.
Add sago and cook.
When the sagos are well cooked add sautéed fruits and add a pinch of salt.
Add cardamom powder, mix well and continue to stir this continuously.
Add condensed milk, sugar and mix well.
Add oats and continue to stir this well till the mixture thickens a bit. The payasam tends to thicken after cooling. So switch off once it is little thick.
