Soak chana overnight in water.
Wash the chana and boil it in cooker with 3 glasses of water, salt and turmeric powder.
After the first whistle, lower down the flame and cook for another 5 minutes.
Turn off the flame and wait until the steam comes out.
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion, green chillies, chopped ginger and curry leaves and saute till it turns to light golden colour.
Add coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder and tomato.
Saute for 2 minutes.
Add boiled chana and mix well.
Transfer the contents to a serving bowl.
Garnish with coriander leaves and chopped onion.
