- 2 Cups Mullan Chakka (chopped)
- 3/4 Cup Grated coconut
- 1 No. Onion Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 3-4 Nos. Green chilly
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt as required
Grind the grated coconut by adding green chilly and garlic into a coarse paste. Keep aside.
Remove the skin of mullatha and cut into small pieces. Then remove the seeds.
Chop it.
Add one chopped onion and mix well.
Heat oil in a kadai and splutter mustard seeds, and add curry leaves.
Add coconut mix and saute for 30 seconds.
Then add chopped mullatha onion mix.
Add turmeric powder and salt as required, combine well.
Cook for 10-15 minutes and stir occasionally.
Serve along with rice or chapathi as a healthy side dish.
