For preparing Naadan Mathi Vattichathu, first clean sardines and wash well. Drain well. Stir in masala powders over sardines.
Add 1 1/2 cup water and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a clay pot, splutter mustard and fenugreek seeds. When it Start to splutter, add curry leaves and crushed garlic and saute for few seconds.
Add tomato and green chilly.
Saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add sardine along with masala water. Cook for 15 minutes in low flame.
