Nadan Thenga Chutney | Coconut Chutney

Ingredients
  

  • 1 &1/2 Cup Grated coconut
  • 3 Nos. Green chillies
  • 1 Small piece Ginger
  • 4 Nos. Shallots
  • Salt as reqd

For seasoning:

  • 1 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 4 Nos. Dried red chillies
  • 5 Nos. Shallots Chopped
  • Few Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Take a mixer grinder and add grated coconut into it.
  • Add green chilly, ginger shallots and salt.
  • Grind it to make a coarse paste.
  • Finally we have to temper the chutney. Heat oil in a tadka, splutter mustard seeds and add shallots. When it becomes golden brown in color, add dried red chillies and curry leaves. Pour it over the chutney and mix.
  • Tasty Nadan Thenga Chutney is ready now.
