Pallipalayam Chicken
Pallipalayam Chicken is a rustic Kongu Nadu dish from Tamil Nadu made with shallots, dried red chilies, and coconut.

- 250 g Chicken Very small sizes
- 100 g Shallots Chopped
- 10 Nos. Dry Red Chillies
- 1/2 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Chopped
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric
- Salt As reqd
- 4 Tbsp Gingelly oil
In a pan add oil and temper dry red chillies. Take care that chillies do not burn.
Now add shallots and ginger garlic paste and saute well.
Next, add chicken and cook for 5 mins.
Add salt and turmeric.
Allow to cook for 5 more mins and add coconut sliced. If required, add small amount of water and cook till done.
At last add little more gingelly oil and fry for a min and turn off.
Now yummy Pallipalayam chicken is ready.
