- 1 Cup Pavakka/Bitter gourd Sliced
- 1 No. Onion Sliced
- 2 Nos. Green chillies
- Few Curry leaves
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 Tsp Red chilly powder
- 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
- 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
- Salt as reqd
Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves.
Add bitter gourd slices.
Sauté for 7-8 minutes over medium flame, stirring occasionally until the bitter-gourd is completely done and slightly browned.
Then add sliced green chilly and onion.
Stir fry for 8-10 minutes.
Now add the masalas and enough salt.
Roast for few more minutes to get rid of the raw smell of masalas. Then switch off the flame.
Serve along with steamed rice.
