Prawn-Jhinga Kabab

Marinated prawns/jhinga are threaded onto skewers and grilled

Ingredients
  

  • 6 nos Prawns cleaned and deveined, fresh
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika powdered capsicum
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 no Green Chillies remove seeds and chop finely
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 3 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Lemon slice to garnish

Instructions
 

  • First thread the prawns onto skewers and set aside.
  • Prepare a marinade of vegetable oil, paprika, turmeric, garlic, green chilly, cumin powder and lime juice.
  • Keep the marinade for 40 minutes.
  • Heat pan and pour oil. Place the prawns on the pan.
  • Cook the prawn kabab for 5 minutes, turning occasionally with marinade.
  • An easy and yummy starter dish, is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves, lemon slices and serve hot.
