Ragi Idiyappam | Ragi String Hoppers

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Ragi Flour
  • 2 Cups Hot Water
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Cup Grated coconut
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Take ragi flour, required salt and oil in a wide bowl.
  • Heat water to a boil. Pour hot water over the ragi flour and mix well. Cover the bowl with a lid and let it sit for 15 mins.
  • After 15 mins, form into a soft dough.
  • Heat a idli steamer and add little grated coconut in it.
  • Now take your string hopper maker and fill it with the dough. Spin the string maker so that you will get the dough as threads falling over it. Steam for 8 to 10 mins.
  • Remove and serve Ragi Idiyappam with your favorite curry.
