Take all the ingredients and keep it ready.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin, urad dhal and white sesame seeds.
Then add dried red chilly, green chilly and curry leaves. Saute for 10 seconds.
Now add cubed onion, tomato and garlic. Fry until tomatoes turn mushy.
Then add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt as required. Saute for one minute.
Add hot water and bring it to boil.
Then add some coriander leaves also.
Let it cool down.
Add this into a mixer jar.
Grind it smoothly. Keep this aside. Now take the ingredients for seasoning. Heat a table spoon of coconut oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add some curry leaves and pour the seasoning over the chutney.
Serve with dosa or idli..
