Tasty Curd Rice
Simple, easy and tasty curd rice

- 2 cups Rice
 - 2 cups Yoghurt/Curd
 - 1 cup Milk
 - 1/2 tsp Ginger grated
 - 3 nos Green chillies grated/finely chopped
 - Curry leaves A few
 - 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
 - 2 nos Red chillies Kollamulaku
 - 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
 - 1/2 tsp Split black gram Uzhunnuparippu
 - 1 tbsp Butter
 - Salt As reqd
 
 
Cook rice in 4 cups of water and allow it to cool.
Mix yoghurt, 1/2 cup milk and salt to the rice and keep it aside.
Heat butter in a deep pan.
Splutter mustard seeds.
Add split black gram and stir, till they turn light brown.
Add red chillies, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves and stir on a low heat for few seconds.
Add rice, 1/2 cup milk and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves (and chopped mango).
