Ingredients
- Rice - 2 cups
- Yoghurt/curd - 2 cups
- Milk - 1 cup
- Ginger(grated) - 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies(grated/finely chopped) - 3 nos
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 2 nos
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Split Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1/2 tsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Cook rice in 4 cups of water and allow it to cool.
- Heat butter in a deep pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add split black gram and stir, till they turn light brown.
- Add red chillies, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves and stir on a low heat for few seconds.
- Add rice, 1/2 cup milk and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves (and chopped mango).
