Kadala Kaya Mezhukku | Nadan Kadala Kaya Mezhukkupuratti

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Black chana (cooked)
  • 1 Cup Kaya/plantain Chopped
  • 10 Nos. Shallots/Small onion
  • 2 Tsp Chili flakes
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Water
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Smash half of the cooked chana and keep aside.
  • Cook the chopped raw banana in enough water by adding salt and turmeric powder.
  • Mean time crush shallots and chilli flakes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, crushed shallots and chilli flakes.
  • Saute the onions till they are light brown in colour.
  • Then add cooked chana and cooked kaya into it. Mix well and cook for another 3-4 minutes and remove from the flame.
  • Tasty Kadala Kaya Mezhukku is ready now.
