2 medium potatoes, gratedfresh coriander leaves, chopped (A bunch)1 tsp jeera / jeerakam2 green chillies, chopped1 pinch asafoetida / hing / perungayam1/2 tsp red chilli powder1 to besan / bengal gram powder / kadala mavuSalt (to taste) Grate the potatoes and add the other ingredients in. Mix welll. Make into flat patty shapes on palm of hand and shallow fry in a wide pan until golden brown on both sides.Serve the tikkis with ketchup. Tastes best when really hungry! North Indian
