Bread Uppuma - Kerala Style Uppuma made with bread n potato 10 nos Bread slices3 - Green chilles1 no Onion (big)1 no Potato3 tsp Ghee1 tsp Chicken masala/Garam masala1 tsp OilCoriander leaves (finely chopped)Curry leaves (A few) Boil and mash the potato.Chop onions and chillies.Cut the side crumbs of the bread slices and slice them into small squares. Heat the ghee in a tava.Fry the bread slices till golden brown, stirring continuously, to avoid burning. Keep aside.In the same tava, heat the oil.Season with red chilly and mustard seeds(optional) and fry onions till transparent.Add chillies and curry leaves and saute well.Add masala and salt to taste.Add mashed potatoes and mix well. Add the bread slices and curry leaves to the mixture and stir till the mixture is evenly spread. Garnish with coriander leaves. :- Serve hot. Kerala
