Crispy Garlic ribbon pakoda is a super diwali snack made from rice flour and garlic . This Garlic Ribbon pakoda also called as olai pakoda, nada murukku.

  • Garlic 15 no.
  • Red chili 6 no.
  • Rice Flour 1 cup
  • Besan Flour 1/2 Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • poppy seed 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame seed 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Oil To deep Fry


  • Peel the garlic and take red chili
  • Make a fine paste by adding little water
  • In a bowl add Rice flour, Besan Flour, Garlic red chili paste, poppy seed, Sesame seed, asafoetida, salt and butter
  • Add little water and make soft and smooth dough
  • Stuff in Ribbon Murukku Mould
  • Heat the oil in the pan and press the stuffed murukku Mould Directly to the oil, fry it for 2 mins
  • Now garlic ribbon pakoda is ready
