1 cup Rice powder2 tsp Chilly Powder1/4 tsp Sesame seeds (Ellu)1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder (Kayaam)5 nos PappadamSalt (As reqd) For preparing pappada vada, make a paste by mixing rice powder, salt, chilly powder, asafoetida and sesame seeds with required water. Heat oil in a frying pan, dip pappadam in the above mixture and put into hot oil. Press frequently to get crispy pappadams. Fry till it become a golden brown.Pappada vada is ready. Serve as a snack.
