Pav Bhaji - North Indian

  • Chop the potaotes, carrots, cauliflower, green and red capsicum.
  • Pressure cook them with salt, till it gets cooked(about 10 min).
  • Drain the water and mash the vegetables, so that it becomes a fine paste. Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add mustard and cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
  • Add onions and fry, till it becomes translucent.
  • Add Pav-bhaji masala powder, garlic-ginger paste, salt and red chilly powder.
  • Add tomato paste or finely chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 min.
  • Add the mashed vegetable paste and mix well.
  • Add butter and lemon juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Slightly toast the pav(burger buns) with butter on a tava.
  • :- Serve with delicious pav-bhaji.

    Reciepe is short and simple..but how do you prepare Pau Bhaaji masala?? You need to give a short reciepe of that too..Thanks..Regards.

    It is fine.U can add1 or 2 finely chopped green chillies and green peas.
