Ingredients
- White fish - 1/2 kg
- Chilly powder - 3 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
- Ginger - 2 inch
- Oil - 3 tsp

Instructions
- Clean and wash the white fish and slice properly.
- Take a little hot water to mix in the chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and kokum(kodampuli).
- Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add chopped onion, chopped ginger and curry leaves. Saute till the onion softens.
- Add soaked masalas and kokum. Stir well for 2 minutes.
- Add sliced fish pieces and add 1 cup water. Saute.
- Cover with lid and gently simmer for 5 minutes until the fish is cooked and gravy thickens.
- Transfer the contents to a servingbowl.
- :- Serve with rice, chappathi.
