Tuna puttu with coconut and green chillies

Ingredients
- Tuna (canned)(choose preserved in sunflower or olive oil) -
- Onions(same quantity as tuna) -
- garlic(use two cloves per onion) -
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies(reduce if you desire less spicy) - 2 chillies
- Dessicated cocunut - 2 tbsp
- Oil - 2 -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing(finely chopped) -

Instructions
- Drain oil from cans and separate out the tuna on a plate.
- Heat 2 - 3 tbsp of oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
- Add finely chopped onions, garlic chopped or crushed and finely cut green chillies.
- Add tuna, once the onions get transcluent. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder and cumin powder.
- Add dessicated coconut followed by chopped coriander.
- :- Serve with rice.

Growing up, one of my favourite dishes was Shark Puttu. My kids love it too. Now thanks to you, we enjoy Fish Puttu here in the US as well. Great recipe and so easy.
