Tuna puttu with coconut and green chillies

  • Drain oil from cans and separate out the tuna on a plate.
  • Heat 2 - 3 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
  • Add finely chopped onions, garlic chopped or crushed and finely cut green chillies.
  • Add tuna, once the onions get transcluent. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add dessicated coconut followed by chopped coriander.
  • :- Serve with rice.

    Hmm ! I remember my Mum making a similar dish using SHARK. She addeed curry leaves too. But I m sure your receipe is promising and convenient too. Thank you

    Growing up, one of my favourite dishes was Shark Puttu. My kids love it too. Now thanks to you, we enjoy Fish Puttu here in the US as well. Great recipe and so easy.
