the pickle have lot of varieties. this pickle is one of the quick and easiest pickle which is good side dish for curd rice

  • arinellikai 200 grams
  • oil 25 ml
  • salt 3 tsp
  • red chili powder 2 tsp
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • cumin seed 1 tsp
  • coriander seed 1 tsp
  • fenugreek seed 1 tsp


  • dry fry the cumin seed, coriander seed and fenugreek seed and make as powder

  • clean and wash the arinellikai

  • in a pan heat the oil

  • add arinellikai and allow to cook for 5 mins in low flame

  • add salt, red chili powder and asafoetida and mix well and allow to cook for 5 mins

  • now add cumin seed, fenugreek seed and coriander seed powder and mix well

  • allow to cook for 5 mins in low flame
