Cauliflower Milagu Perattu

Cauliflower Milagu Peratu is a dry fry side dish.cauliflower is blended with black pepper which gives a nice spicy flavor. This is an authentic spicy South Indian dish made with Cauliflower and black pepper. There are many ways of preparing this milagu peratu , and this is the easiest of all preparations. This goes well sambar rice or rasam rice.

  • cauliflower 1
  • red chili 1
  • mustard 1 sp
  • channa dal and urad dal 1 sp
  • hing 1 pinch
  • jeera 1 sp
  • pepper 2 sp
  • garlic 3 flakes
  • onions 1
  • curry leafs few
  • green chili 1
  • salt to taste


  • steam cauliflower and keep aside.
  • in oil add red chili , mustard, channa dal, urad dal and hing
  • crush jeera, pepper and garlic and add to the oil.
  • now add onions ,curry leafs,green chili and salt.
  • when onions are cooked to soft add steamed cauliflowers and stir it.
  • serve it as a side dish.
