Channa Dal chutney is a interesting chutney which goes good with dosa and paratha. This is very simple and easy to prepare . We could make a dry powder of this and store it. just a mix of fresh curd will transform this powder to a good tasty and spicy chutney. Dry roast the ingredients separately and make a coarse powder. This goes great with any combination.

- channa dal 50 gms -
- red chili 3 -
- Cumin seeds : 1 tsp -
- hing 1/2 tsp -
- curd 50 gms -
- Salt to taste -
- pepper 1/2 tsp -
- mustard 1/2 sp -
- capsicum chops 2 sp -
- Curry leaves Few -

- just fry channa dal in pan till it gets roasted
- separately stir fry cumin seeds
- also fry red chili
- make a powder of the above three with salt and hing , pepper
- grind to a coarse powder
- mix this powder with curd
- add to the chutney and serve
