Ingredients
- Spinach stem(sliced) - 2 cups
- Shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 6 nos
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- garlic - 3 cloves
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing cheerathandu thoran, first cook the spinach stems with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Roughly grind coconut, green chillies and garlic.
- Heat pan, splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves.
- Add the shallots and fry.
- Add the crushed coconut and mix well.
- Mix well in simmer flame.
- Cheerathandu thoran is ready.
