Ingredients
- Split red gram or lentil - 225 gm
- Onion - 55 gm
- Green chillies - 10 nos
- Turmeric(a pinch) -
- Fat - 40 gm
- Salt(to taste) -
- Curry leaves(a sprig) -
- Mustard seeds(a pinch) -
- Whole red chillies - 3 nos

Instructions
- Sort and wash gram or lentil.
- Slice onions and slit green chillies.
- When tender, remove from fire and mash.
- :- Add more water if required.
- Add salt and bring to boil.
- Remove and temper with fat (10gm), curry leaves, mustard seeds and whole red chillies.
