Kambu Sadam(bajra Or Pearl Millet)

this is a south indian dish ,commonly preferred as a good substitute for rice ,since it is good iron rich food.

Ingredients
  

  • kambu 1 cup
  • idly rice 2sp
  • water 4 cups

Instructions
 

  • soak kambu along with rice for 1/2 an hour
  • run it in a mixie in a coarse form
  • boil water in a cooker and gently add the mixer to it
  • allow it for 4-5 whistle in medium flame . sadam is ready to serve with dal, sambar,rasam or curd
