- Kovakkai 100gm -
- red chili powder 1/2 tsp -
- Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- maida 1/2 tsp -
- Corn flour : 1 tsp -
- Rice flour : 1 tsp -
- Oil : 4 tsp -

Instructions
- cut the kovakkai
- in a bowl add kovakkai, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, maida, corn flour and rice flour and mix well
- heat the oil in the kadai
- add kovakkai mix and allow to cook for 10 mins in medium flame
- cook until the kovakkai get cooked
- now kovakkai varuval is ready to serve
