1/2 cup Daal (cooked)Ghee (As reqd)1 tbsp Carrot (grated)1 tbsp Beet root (grated)1/2 of Potato (chopped)1 clove Garlic (crushed)1/2 of Tomato (finely chopped)Turmeric powder (A pinch)1 no Green chilly (slit, optional)Salt (As reqd)Water (As reqd) For preparing mixed vegetable curry, first boil the vegetables together and keep aside with the remaining water. Heat ghee in a pan, add garlic and fry. Add tomato and saute well. Add turmeric powder, green chilly, salt and cooked vegetables with remaining water. Let it boil for 2 minutes. Add the cooked daal and cover it with a lid and cook for 2 minutes. Mixed vegetable curry for kids is ready. Serve it with rice/chappathi. Can be preserved in fridge for 2 days. Kerala
