Ingredients
- Sardines - 20 nos
- Tomato - 2
- Green chilly - 4
- Shallots - 6
- Coconut - 1/2 pc
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 ½
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(to taste) -
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves(as required) -
- Coconut oil - 1 ½

Instructions
- Grind coconut with salt, cumin seeds and turmeric powder as required. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a clay pot and sautT mustard in it.
- Add tomato, green chilly and shallots to it and sautT well.
- Mix in the grinded coconut and heat in medium flame for 3-5 minutes.
- Add sardines, chilly powder and let it cook well.
- Mix in the curry leaves.
- Serve it with rice or kanji.
