- Sardine fish - 10
- garlic - 1 clove
- Ginger(small piece) -
- Green peppercorn - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil(for frying) -
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Salt(to taste) -

- Clean and wash the fish nicely with running water.make some gashes on each sides.take all the ingredients and keep aside.
- Make a fine paste of green peppercorn,curry leaves,ginger&garlic
- Apply the masala paste,turmeric powder and salt on fish.keep it for 10 minutes in refrigerator
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the each sides of fish
- Once crisp remove from heat and transfer it into a serving plate.serve hot Mathi Fry in pacha kurumulakku with rice & enjoy!
