Spicy Crab(Njandu) masala

Ingredients
- Fresh crab or cooked crab(if using fresh crab, put it in boiling water for a few mins) - 1 -
- Bay leaf(Vazhana/Karuga ela) - 1 no
- Onion(big) - 2 nos
- Tomato - 3 nos
- Garam masala - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Peppercorns(Kurumulaku) - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds(Perinjeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Grated Coconut - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 piece
- Ginger(garlic paste) -

Instructions
- Dry roast peppercorns, fennel seeds, grated coconut and cinnamon and grind it to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add bay leaf followed by onions and fry well.
- Add crab and fry.
- Add the ground paste along with a cup of water.
- Add salt, if reqd.
- Cook, till it gets thick.
- :- Serve with chappathis or white rice.
