Ingredients
- Pura / dove - 1/2 kg
- Onion - 2 no
- Tomato - 1 no
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Aniseed - 2 no
- Broken urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 6 no
- Ginger garlic paste - 4 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste -
- Black pepper - 2 tsp
- Coconut paste - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves(to garnish) -
- Bay leaf - 2 no

Instructions
- Temper the bay leaf, mustard, broken urad dal and aniseed.
- Add onion and curry leaves and saute it for 3 mins.
- Add tomato and mix it.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt and mix it.
- Add pura /pigeon and mix it.
- Allow to cook for 5 mins in medium flame.
- Add required water for gravy and allow to cook.
- Now add coconut paste and mix well.
- Add pepper and mix it and allow to cook until the pura / pigeon gets cooked.
- Now pigeon / pravu / pura gravy is ready to serve. Garnish with coriander leaves.
