Ingredients
- Mint leaves(A handful, Pudhina) -
- Gram flour(Kadalapodi/Besan) - 1 cup
- Rice flour(Ari podi) - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) -
- Oil for frying -

Instructions
- Clean the pudhina leaves and grind it to a paste in a mixer grinder.
- Mix together gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafoetida, chilly powder and the pudhina paste.
- Add butter and knead it to a dough.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Place the dough in a murukku maker and squeeze it into the oil.
- When it is done, remove from the oil.
- :- Serve with tea.

Very good recepie. I didn`t have a murukku maker. So i simply put small quantities of dough into the hot oil using a spoon. It came out good !
