- Mutton(sliced, washed and drained) - 1/2 kg
- Pearl onions(Kunjulli) - 1 cup
- Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Tomato(chopped) - 2 nos
- Ginger - 1" piece
- Garlic cloves - 5 -
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tbsp
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 2 sticks
- Cloves(Grambu) - 4 nos
- Fennel(Perinjeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 2 nos
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing Simple Mutton Curry, first heat some oil in a pan.
- Add whole pearl onions and fry for sometime.
- Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and coconut and fry well.
- Allow it to cool.
- Grind the masala with water to a fine paste.
- Add this masala mixture to the mutton pieces along with tomatoes and curry leaves in a pressure cooker.
- Cook, until done.
- Delicious and tasty Simple Mutton Curry is ready.
