Ingredients
- Anchovi or kozhuva(I used small type you can use any type) - 1/2 kg
- Curry leaves - 2 sprig
- Puttu podi - 2 tbsp
- Oil(for frying) -
Marination:
- Chilly powder - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Shallots - 2 nos
- Fennel seeds(perum jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- garlic - 2 pods
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Ginger - 1" piece
- Salt -

Instructions
- Clean the Kozhuva and keep aside
- Take all the items for marination
- Grind this into fine paste
- Mix this to Kozhuva properly . Keep it for at least 1 hour
- Take that marinated Kozhuva and mix with puttu podi(this is used to get crispness)
- Immediately heat oil and fry this batch by batch
- Fry until it becomes very much crispy. Then add curry leaves in it.
- This is now ready to serve with boiled rice or as a starter
