Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 2 nos Onions cut straight
  • 3 nos Green chillies slit
  • 1 small Mint leaves Pudhina
  • 2 - Bay leaves Vazhana/Karuga ela
  • 3 - Cloves Grambu
  • 2 small Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • Salt As reqd
  • Ghee As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pressure pan.
  • Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon and mint leaves.
  • Fry for a while.
  • Add onions and green chillies and saute.
  • Add curd and salt.
  • Add the rice along with 1 1/2 cups of water.
  • Close the lid and cook upto 2 - 3 whistles.
  • :- Serve hot with raita or chicken gravy.
