Cook the Tuvara Parippu (Redgram Dhal), along with Turmeric powder in a pressure cooker (after 2 – 3 whistles, put off the stove and take the pressure cooker out from the stove).
Add chopped Cabbage, Red Chilli Powder and Salt into the cooked Dhal along with one cup of water.
Cook the mix in medium flame for about 5 minutes.
After the mix is cooked properly, add the grinded Coconut
Then add the Curry leaves (without frying) and Coconut oil also and stir the koottaan well.
