5 nos Brinjal (cut in to cubes)100 g Shallots (peeled, kunjulli)3 cloves Garlic (crushed)2 nos Tomatoes (chopped)1 tsp Chilly powderTurmeric Powder (A pinch)1 tsp Sambar powderTamarind (A small ball, puli)Curry Leaves (Few)Mustard seeds (Few) Take some oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds. After it splutters, add some curry leaves.Add peeled small onions, brinjal and garlic. Saute them till onion and garlic is getting cooked.Add some chopped tomatoes, a pinch of turmeric powder, chilly powder and sambar powder.Keep continuously stirring. Add some water to the tamarind and squeeze the pulp. Add this pulp to the curry and continue stirring.Boil this mixture properly and serve hot with rice. Tamil
