Easy Apple Salad is an awesome choice of healthy living. As you are well aware, fruits are rich in vital nutrients like folate, potassium, vitamin C and dietary fibre. Eating fruits as part of healthy living, will reduce risk of diseases like cancer, heart ailments and diabetes. Easy Apple Salad was a creation of my foodie aunt who is always in search of innovative healthy dishes. As children, we were all running away from apples and went into hiding whenever she was around with a plate of sliced apples. She sincerely wanted us to savor something healthy but poor she, we gave no notice of her yelling at us. We all grew up and my aunt is in her eighties. Still my foodie aunt is hell bent into her inventions and Easy Apple Salad is her latest creation. I loved the salad and I grabbed the recipe. It was an instant hit in my family and my kid too loves it. My aunt couldn’t help beaming with a big smile when she learnt that her recipe was a success.
Easy Apple Salad is such a treat whenever you serve it as a side with lunch or dinner. It takes less than 5 minutes to put up the dish. You require just two apples.
