- Chicken - 1 kg
- Rice - 4 cup
- Onion - 6
- Tomatos - 4
- Green chilly - 5
- Garam masala - 1 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Carrot - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Raisins - 10
- Cashew nuts - 10
- Cunnamon stick(small) - 1
- Water - 6 cup
- Salt(as required) -

- Marinate the chicken with chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt as required,keep it aside for 15 minutes.deep fry the chicken pieces in oil until brown colour and keep it aside.
- Wash rice well and drain in colander for at least 30 minutes
- In a large skillet in 4-5 tbsp coconut oil fry onion until it is soft and golden.add tomatos,green chilly,ginger garlic paste,coriander leaves,turmeric powder,garam masala and salt as required.fry stirring constantly for 5-10 minutes.when the mixture is thick and smooth add chicken pieces.turn off the stove
- For biriyani rice take some mint leaves,fried onion,cashew nuts and raisins
- Mix the rice with the above ingredient and 1/2 tsp garam masala.mix 1/4 tsp turmeric powder with milk and spread it over the rice for colour
- Serve it hot
