  • Cut chicken into small pieces.
  • Drain off the water completely.
  • Mix the chicken pieces with tomato sauce, vinegar, turmeric powder, red colour, salt and ajinomotto.
  • Cook the chicken pieces, without adding water.
  • When the chicken pieces are completely covered with the masala, remove from fire.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions, green chillies and curry leaves and fry, till they become brown.
  • Add the chicken pieces and mix well and simmer for a further 10 mins.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve with parathas or appam.

    This is the first dish i am trying from this site…i made a little change as i mixed 1 tablespoon butter before adding chicken to fried onions.I served this dish with chapathi.Wow!its simply delicious!Got good appreciation from my husband..

    This recipe turned out to be very good. Except, i think it is ok, to add little vinegar quantity than what`s mentioned. Coz it gives out a strong smell. BUut otherwise quiety tasty. Thnx
