  • Peel the potatoes, cut them in thin, round shapes into a vessel in which normal water is kept.
  • Wash the potato pieces and remove water completely from the pieces by using a sieve and keep them aside for some time to dry.
  • Heat oil in a cheenachatti/frying pan and add the cleaned potato pieces into the hot oil in small quantities and stir it properly. Also add required quantity of salt water in the oil carefully.
  • When colour of the potato pieces turn into golden, take them out and keep in a dry vessel. If necessary, add some red chilli powder also so that the chips will become spicy.
