- Rice flour - 1 kg
- Beef - 500 g
- Grated Coconut - 1/2 pc
- Onion - 4
- garlic - 1 clove
- Ginger(small pc) -
- Green chilly - 4
- Red chilly powder - 2 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(little) -
- Curry leaves(few) -

- Mix the flour with little water to get thick dough and make small coins out of it.steam cook the coins for 20-25 minutes.
- Cut the beef into small pieces and wash it nicely.
- Cook the beef in little water with chilly powder,turmeric powder,garam masala and salt as required.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry ginger,garlic,green chilly and curry leaves for 30 seconds and keep it aside.
- Add cooked beef
- Mix it well and cook again for 2 minutes.
- The delicious spicy kunji pathal is ready now.
