Ingredients
- Basmathi rice - 2 cups
- Mint leaves(Pudhina) - 2 small
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Bay leaves(Vazhana/Karuga ela) - 3 -
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 3 nos
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 3 sticks
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water - 3 cups

Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves.
- Add the mint leaves and saute it lightly.
- :- Do not deep fry it.
- Add rice and fry it for 2 - 3 mins.
- Cook, till the rice is done.
- :- Serve with any spicy dish.
