Maladu is a delicious sweet and can be made on any festive occasions. This is a healthy sweet made from Fried Gram. It can be given as a snack for kids. This protein rich sweet is famous in South India.

  • powder the jagerry,cut the cashews into two pieces
  • in a mixi jar add roasted gram and jaggery and make a powder
  • melt the 2 tsp of ghee in a pan
  • fry the cashews until the cashew get golden brown
  • in a bowl add roasted gram jaggery mixture and fried cashews and ghee and mix well
  • add salt and mix well. add more ghee if required and mix well
  • from the mixture take some and make as a ladoo
  • maladu / roasted gram ladoo is ready
